the ART of NATURAL DYEING

I hand-dye all my wool in small batches using botanical and insect dyes, crafting vibrant, richly layered colors drawn directly from nature.

Through careful selection of botanical materials and traditional dyeing techniques, I aim to prove that natural dyes can not only rival but often outshine synthetic alternatives.

Each piece is a celebration of color, texture, and the beauty of natural pigments.

By embracing this slow, intentional process, I create textiles that are both deeply rooted in tradition and boldly contemporary in their expression.

embracing NATURE'S PALETTE

Natural dyeing is a delicate balance of artistry and precision. I’ve curated an extensive recipe book of natural dyes - a carefully crafted collection of formulas that allow me to achieve vibrant, rich colors.

Each recipe serves as a foundation for crafting rich, consistent hues. Yet, the true beauty of this process lies in its fluidity - these recipes are not fixed, but allow for delicate adjustments that reveal new shades and unexpected results.

Through variations in timing and quantities of dye fibre, new colors and shades emerge, adding depth and uniqueness to every piece.

In a world dominated by synthetic alternatives, my approach honors the beauty of nature’s colors - offering a sustainable, artistic process that embraces both consistency and the unpredictable charm of natural dyeing.
